Biography
Mr. Frizo has been working at Conexsus since 2018. He is a PhD candidate in Economics at UFRJ (PPGE-IE). He holds a Master's degree in Sociology from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), whose dissertation won the NEAD/SOBER Award for best
dissertation in Rural Sociology in 2018. He holds a degree in Economics from the University of São Paulo (ESALQ-USP), having completed his degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He worked as a consultant for the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in the design of hybrid financing strategies to strengthen sustainable community organizations in the Amazon. He was also a researcher and consultant on climate change and value chains at IDESAM (Institute for Conservation and Sustainable Development of the Amazon). He is a member of the Study and Research Group on Agriculture, Food and Development (GEPAD-UFRGS). He was a guest member of the Swiss Impact Investing Association (SIIA) for the year 2019.
