Biography

Peggy Clark is the Interim Executive Director of Aspen Global innovators Group, Chair of Ashesi University Foundation, and a strategic consultant to foundations and non -profits. Peggy has had a long and distinguished history at the Aspen Institute that includes founding the Economic Opportunity Program and leading it from 1991-2001, serving as Executive Vice President of Policy Programs, Executive Vice President of Seminars and Leadership Programs, and as a co-leader of the Aspen Institute at-large during the CEO search that led to Walter Isaacson's appointment.
Peggy served as CEO and President of the International Center for Research on Women from 2021-2024. Peggy led poverty alleviation and Womens employment programs at the Ford Foundation and Save the Children and was an early leader in the Microfinance field, receiving a Presidential Award for Excellence from n Microenterprise Development and spearheading early legislation in the U.S. and globally on Microfinance.
