Peter Laugharn serves as President and CEO of the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation. Laugharn is a passionate leader in philanthropy with 35 years of foundation and nonprofit experience globally.
Since joining the Hilton Foundation in 2016, Laugharn has guided the organization through a period of unprecedented growth. He has overseen the evolution of the Foundation’s strategic grantmaking, including the expansion and development of new program areas and strengthening its commitment to community-driven initiatives.
Laugharn serves on the board of directors for the Pacific Council on International Policy and is board chair emeritus for the Council on Foundations. He is co-chair emeritus for the Council on Foundation's Leadership Circle on Locally Led Development, and co-chair emeritus for the Leadership Table for Regional Homelessness Alignment in Los Angeles County.
Laugharn holds a BA from Stanford University, an MA from Georgetown University, and PhD from University of London.
