Biography
Peyman is a Senior Advisor to the President of the Open Society Foundations, where he creates bridges for OSF program-related work internally and externally, provides counsel to the President, represents her in internal forums, and accompanies and/or represents her in high-level external meetings. In his role, Peyman also serves as the key liaison between the President’s office and the offices of the Chair and Vice President of Programs, ensuring strategic alignment and the seamless integration of programmatic objectives with overarching policy goals.
He holds a PhD in International Law and Global Politics and a Master’s in Human Rights and Conflict Management, reflecting his academic grounding and commitment to issues at hand. Before joining OSF, he was a visiting scholar at Georgetown University and brings decades of experience collaborating with the UN, civil society organizations, private sector entities, and government agencies.
