Dr Precious Lunga is the CEO and Co-Founder of Baobab Circle, where she leads the development of Afya Pap, an award-winning mobile health platform revolutionising chronic disease management across East Africa. A Cambridge-trained neuroscientist and epidemiologist, her distinguished career spans biotechnology research, clinical trials, and global health policy implementation. Prior to founding Baobab Circle, she established Econet Health's digital health division and supported the response to the West African Ebola outbreak. Her expertise has been sought by international organisations, including UNAIDS and the Africa Centres for Disease Control during the COVID-19 pandemic. A Yale World Fellow, Dr Lunga has served on the boards of several prestigious global health institutions, consistently demonstrating her commitment to advancing global health solutions through innovation and strategic leadership.
