Biography

Preethi Herman, CEO and Co-Founder of Nguvu Collective, leads an international network of hundreds of women campaigners across Africa and South Asia. Recognised by the Obama Foundation, The Times, and Forbes, Preethi's transformative impact model supports women campaign leaders to win powerful advocacy campaigns across Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, and India. Over the past eight years, they have successfully equipped over 350 women leaders to drive 71 policy changes that have impacted over 200 million people.

Preethi previously led the Change.org Foundation, supporting 100 million people in citizen-led campaigns worldwide. Preethi also set up Change.org India as a people’s platform for impact.
