Biography
Rebecca Fishman Goldberg is the Advocacy & Business Development Lead for World Health Partners, which provides health and reproductive health services in low-income countries by harnessing local market forces to work for the poor. She joined the group from Sesame Workshop, where she served as a consultant providing high-level strategic guidance, programming, and writing to their Global Health Initiative featuring the new Muppet Raya. Prior to that, she served as Operations and Special Projects Director for WASH Advocates, an advocacy initiative helping solve the global water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) challenge. She helped integrate WASH into UN-level and other global conversations on gender and maternal, newborn, and child health. Goldberg previously worked at the United Nations Foundation, Mount Sinai and NYU Medical Centers, and held field placements with nongovernmental organizations in India and Argentina. She received graduate and undergraduate degrees from Cornell University and is currently based in Washington, DC.
