Biography
Rena Meyers-Dahlkamp is a dedicated philanthropic advisor, bridge builder, and advocate for justice. As lead strategist for grantmaking at the Hopper Dean Foundation, she focuses on driving impactful investments that prioritize grassroots solutions.
Previously, Rena played a key role in coordinating the Regenerative Economies Organizing (REO) Collaborative, advancing strategies to challenge the injustice of less than 2% of climate funds supporting Black, Indigenous, and frontline communities. She has had the honor of working closely with youth climate activists globally and organizing international solidarity for community-led peace and accountability efforts in the Congo Basin, around mines, and in conflict zones of eastern Congo.
With a master’s in Intercultural Relations and Conflict Transformation from the SIT Graduate Institute, Rena’s lifelong commitment to systems change continues to guide her contributions to the philanthropic and social movements’ ecosystems.
