Biography

Robyn is a purpose-driven leader and passionate advocate for Canva’s two-step plan: Build one of the world’s most valuable companies and do the most good they can. As the head of the Canva Foundation, she has played a key role in shaping Canva’s social impact strategy - helping the company join Pledge 1%, establish formal philanthropic structures, and embed impact into its DNA.

With a background in law, human rights, education, and modern slavery, Robyn transitioned from corporate law to social impact to focus on systemic change. Over the past five years, she has helped grow Canva’s Step 2 work, ensuring impact is a core part of how Canva operates.

Born and raised in South Africa, Robyn’s global perspective drives her deep commitment to Africa’s future and the power of business to accelerate change across emerging economies.
