Biography

Ronaldo Matos has led Desenrola E Não Me Enrola, Solutions Journalism and Anti-Racist Media Education organization for 12 years, where he is co-founder and executive director.

Matos is driven by the challenge of contributing to inspiring new ways of thinking and making public policies to combat informational inequalities that affect the black, indigenous, quilombola and LGBTQIAP+ population in Brazil.

Media Subalternity, Digital Acculturation, Information Deserts, Media Illiteracy and Digital Segregation are the main informational inequalities that he researches, to think about strategies and new technologies with social impact that strengthen the ecosystem of independent media, social organizations and governments to reduce dependence on Big Techs' digital platforms.

The systems orchestrator has dedicated himself to collectively and collaboratively building the Ecosystem of Journalism with Territorial Impact and Information Integrity in Brazil.
