Prior to joining GHC, Ruth worked as a business development strategist, providing entrepreneurs with the training and business tools they needed to be competitive and sustainable. Ruth also worked as the Program Manager for Try Medics, a Danish medical internship program, and spearheaded the setup of their Ugandan office. Before that, she managed large financial portfolios for Standard Chartered Bank in the business and priority clients’ segments, specializing in client relationships and product development. Here she served as a member of the CEO advisory panel and was part of a team of executive leadership prospects. Ruth pursued her master’s degree in business administration with a focus on green energy and sustainable businesses at Bologna Business School as an Africa scholarship recipient. She holds a bachelor’s degree in law from Uganda Christian University where she received an Honors College scholarship.
