Biography

Throughout her extensive career at the intersection of social impact and technology, Salah has been widely recognized for her contributions to global financial inclusion and inclusive growth across the U.S., Africa, India, and the Caribbean and holds a patent for her innovative work in digital solutions for the underserved. She is a published author, public speaker, an Aspen Finance Leaders Fellow, a World Economic Forum Schwab Foundation Fellow and a Rockefeller Foundation Bellagio Center Resident. She is also on the Board of Root Capital, the Advisory Council of Heartland Forward and Common Threads’ National Board.
As a social impact strategist and technology innovator, Salah has led at prestigious institutions such as Mastercard, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Open Society Initiative and the US Department of Commerce. Salah holds a master’s degree from the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies. She speaks French and has studied Arabic, Kiswahili and Wolof.
