Sarah has held top/senior positions in social sector organizations located in New York, Texas, Pennsylvania, and California, such as the United Way, and has founded several nonprofit organizations. She co-edited Improving Leadership in Nonprofit Organizations (Jossey-Bass, 2003), and authored chapters, “Soul-Based Leadership” and “Transformational Leadership.” Book chapter “Women Directors in the Board Room,” is in Boardroom Realities (Jossey-Bass, 2008). She is a certified practitioner and Advisory Board member, Connective Leadership Institute; a certified coach, Hudson Institute of Coaching. Plus service in numerous community and academic roles, including chair, Board of Scholars, Vail Leadership Institute; board member, National Women’s Hall of Fame.
