Biography

Scott Ellis is an experienced social sector executive and entrepreneur. After starting his career at McKinsey and Hewlett Packard, he has spent 20 years working with nonprofits and philanthropy.

Scott is the founder and CEO of MasteryTrack, a nonprofit whose mission is to use mastery learning to transform how learning happens for individuals, schools and organizations. Previously he also founded and ran The Learning Accelerator and Open Up Resources.

He is also the founder of The $30 Million Success Project, which seeks to transform how modern societies think and talk about wealth and wealth inequality. He is advocating an annual 50% tax on all household wealth over $30 million.

And he is the founder of Pathway to Shared Prosperity, an initiative defining a future economic vision for American democracy focused on creating shared prosperity. He seeks to cultivate a society where everyone thrives: individuals, families, organizations, communities, and governments.
