Biography

Sebastián Jaramillo is an MBA Skoll Scholar from Colombia. He is an entrepreneur and founder of Tirando X (TxC), a pioneering initiative that empowers communities to make better decisions through artificial intelligence. By leveraging AI for large-scale, personalized behavioral change interventions, Sebastián focuses on the intersection of technology and social impact.

One of his notable successes includes contributing to a 52% reduction in teenage pregnancies in Medellín, addressing a key driver of the poverty trap in Colombia through AI-enabled interventions.

Sebastián has collaborated with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), advised the Government of Colombia on the AI for Nations initiative, and partnered with various governmental bodies to tackle complex societal challenges with innovative technological solutions.
