Simeen Kaleem

Biography

Simeen is a social entrepreneur committed to improving farmers' access to data. She co-founded Gramhal in 2019 to empower smallholder farmers to make informed decisions. Gramhal has supported over 300,000 farmers and is now collaborating with the government to build India’s national crop price platform.

Before Gramhal, Simeen worked in adolescent health and gender rights. As Country Manager for the University of Chicago’s India program, she helped young people make informed choices about their sexual and reproductive health.

Simeen holds an MBA from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford and was awarded Skoll and Laidlaw Scholarships. She also holds degrees from Miranda House, the Young India Fellowship, and Tata Institute of Social Sciences, where she was Students’ Union President.

Simeen is passionate about women’s leadership and mentors young women.
