Sonthonax Vernard, also known as "Sonny," joined the Skoll Foundation in 2021, assuming the role of Digital Platforms Manager. Sonny's public health and public policy background fuels his enthusiasm for showcasing the groundbreaking efforts of the Foundation's Awardees and Grantees, tackling some of the world's most pressing problems.
In his spare time, Sonny enjoys mentoring undergraduate students pursuing careers in public health, traveling internationally to see friends, playing chess, building computers with his nieces and nephews, and passionately supporting the New York Jets, New York Yankees, Temple University, UC Berkeley, and the Golden State Warriors in their respective sports.
