Biography
Family & Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with 39 years experience in health care & wellness. Completed Master's Degree in Community Based Primary Health Care Programs in Global Health at Johns Hopkins University in 2020. Attended Geneva International Center for Justice (GICJ) Junior Diplomatic Fellowship Program, receiving training in International Human Rights Law and Human Rights mechanisms. Attended & participated in United Nations Human Rights Council during this time. Other experience includes working with the homeless population, survivors of sex-trafficking, development of maternal child & mental health programs for both clients & providers (whom I believe are often overlooked). Support holistic approach to global health with background in fitness and yoga, other modalities. Passionate about cultural immersion to guide collaboration within existing programs and create new opportunities to improve health outcomes for underserved communities. Strong interest working in Africa.
