Stephen Carson

Biography

Stephen Carson is the Director of Communications and External Relations for MIT OpenCourseWare. Steve also served as the first president of the OpenCourseWare Consortium from 2008 to 2011, where he oversaw the incorporation of the organization as an independent non-profit, secured funding to support its operation and helped grow membership to include more than 280 universities globally. He served on the Consortium’s board of directors from 2008 to 2012. MIT OpenCourseWave won a WISE Award in 2010.
