Sylivia Kyomuhendo

Biography

Sylivia Kyomuhendo is a Ugandan female healthcare professional who believes that health for all is imminently possible. She holds a Master of Public Health. Sylivia is the Founder & Director of Infants’ Health Foundation – a grassroots-level organization that increases access to & utilization of maternal child healthcare services to low-income mothers & children living far from health facilities in remote difficult-to-reach Ugandan areas. Sylivia is a 2024 Echoing Green Fellow, 2024 PEPFAR Community Small Grant Winner, 2023 Sun Family Support Grant winner, a 2023 Pollination Project Winner, 2022 Africa’s Region Commonwealth Youth Awardee, 2022 One Young World Ugandan Ambassador, 2021 Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Alumni, 2019 Uganda’s 1st runner-up and Top Female Entrepreneur of the Year in Total Startupper of the Year Competitions. She is a member and fellow of; the AstraZeneca Young Health Programme, the CIVICUS, NCD alliance, PMNCH & World Birth Defects Day Movement.
