Tala Al-Ramahi

Biography

Tala Ismail Al Ramahi serves as Chief Strategy Officer for Reaching the Last Mile, where she drives the organization’s efforts to advance health equity, to promote greater health inclusion, and to reduce the burden of preventable diseases among low-income communities.

Reaching the Last Mile is led by the philanthropy of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, and reflects his belief that everyone, everywhere, should have the opportunity of a healthy life.

Tala oversees strategy and partnership development, including steering Reaching the Last Mile’s investments in disease elimination – polio, malaria and neglected tropical diseases – climate and health.

Programs are delivered in close collaboration with countries, with an emphasis on strengthening primary healthcare systems and workforces, to sustainably deliver essential health services.
