Tom Skirrow

Biography

Tom was appointed Chief Executive in July 2020 after more than four years as Director of Operations at Tree Aid. During his time at Tree Aid, Tom has led the team to deliver significant growth across its operations, securing large-scale investment for projects, overseeing the development of new and pioneering monitoring and evaluation systems and supporting the development and delivery of the organisation’s ambitious five-year strategy. He is passionate about driving forward Tree Aids vision and mission and scaling up the restoration efforts across the drylands of Africa for people and planet.
He brings over 20 years of experience in programme and operational roles working on projects in Africa, Asia and the Pacific. Before starting with Tree Aid he worked as Country Director for Save the Children in Vanuatu.
