Victoria Hornby started her career in overseas development working in Romania immediately after the fall of the Ceaucescu regime. She went on to work in the NHS and then as Director of the Hamlet Trust, a charity providing support to new mental health NGOs in Eastern Europe and the Former Soviet Union. She joined the Sainsbury Family Charitable Trusts in 1998, initially to work on the Developing Countries portfolios of the trusts, and has since expanded her role to include domestic issues including disability, palliative care, social investment, sustainable regeneration and community finance. Victoria is pleased to serve as a member of the Futurebuilders Investment Committee.
