Vimal Jat

Biography

I am Vimal Jat, a social entrepreneur and Co-founder & CEO of Synergy Sansthan, a youth-led non-profit nurturing marginalized children, adolescents, and youth leadership in rural and tribal Madhya Pradesh. I also co-created the MP Youth Collective for youth rights advocacy. Through Synergy Sansthan, I have designed leadership journeys addressing gender, education, governance, livelihoods, civic education, and climate action. Over 19 years, my team and I have created safe spaces for first-generation learners, impacting 30,000+ youth. Born in Seoni Malwa, Madhya Pradesh, I hold a postgraduation in Social Work from Devi Ahilya University, Indore. In 2004, I formed a youth group to champion youth rights, leading to Synergy Sansthan’s founding in 2006. Today, with 81 staff, 300 fellows, and 2,000 volunteers in 300 villages, we work intensively in 8 districts and extensively across Madhya Pradesh, fostering an inclusive and just society.
