Biography
Vinay believes that those doing the greatest good deserve the best technology. He is the co-founder and CEO of Lightful, a technology company and B Corp that helps charities, foundations and education institutions to scale their impact through the power of digital. Prior to this, he worked in the field of impact investing as a director at Social and Sustainable Capital (SASC), the Social Investment Business and Acumen Fund. He has also worked for the Clinton Foundation HIV/AIDS Initiative in Mozambique, where he launched a successful social enterprise.
Vinay started his career in investment banking at J.P. Morgan, where he spent almost a decade, latterly as an Executive Director. He holds a BA from Trinity College Dublin and completed a mid-career MPA from the London School of Economics. He is an industry advisor at the Saïd Business School, Oxford University and is involved in a number of charities in a personal capacity. Vinay is the father to two young, sport-obsessed children.
