Vishal Ghotge

Biography

Vishal is a product executive with 20+ years of experience in building technology products, consumer marketplaces, and global fintech solutions. He brings to Kiva a passion for mission-driven organizations and using technology to drive impact at scale, empowering underserved communities through financial inclusion.

Previously, Vishal was EVP for North America at Remitly, developing financial products that helped immigrants and their families access essential financial services. He also served as Chief Product Officer at PayScale, leading product strategy, UX, and technology to create data-driven compensation tools. At Groupon, he built marketplace experiences connecting consumers with local businesses. Vishal spent over a decade at Microsoft, working on Windows and Windows Phone, leading teams that launched innovative products globally.

He holds a Master’s in computer science from the University of Illinois and a Bachelor’s in computer engineering from the University of Mumbai.
