Biography

VIVIANE FERREIRA is a director and screenwriter. PhD student in Audiovisual Media and Processes at ECA-USP. She is president of the Instituto Audiovisual Mulheres de Odun, where she directs the "iAMO Audiovisual Artistic Residency Program”. Founding partner of Odun Filmes, she was president of SPCINE (2021-2023), president of APAN - Association of Black Audiovisual Professionals (2016-2021), president of the Selection Committee for the film representing Brazil at the 2021 Oscars, and artistic director of the "Zózimo Bulbul Meeting of Black Cinema - Brazil, Africa, Caribbean and Other Diasporas (2019-2020)".
