Walter Sweet

Biography

Walter is Co-CEO and President of Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors (RPA), and leads all program teams. He previously served as executive in charge of advisory and sponsored project practice. He began as an Advisor at RPA in 2004.

Prior to RPA he helped lead a family owned firm focused on defense threat reduction; was program officer for the NY Community Trust, and served as a lead emergency grants program officer for the September 11th Fund. He worked as a councilmanic aide in New York City, a management consultant, and researcher at Columbia Business School.

He holds a bachelors degree from Columbia University and took graduate business courses at Columbia Business School. He is board member of a CDFI, the Business Outreach Center Network which is headquartered in NY.
