Will has a post-graduate degree in finance and is a Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA). He previously worked as a Director of an actuarial consulting firm in South Africa where he consulted to numerous employer and private medical insurance schemes with a specific focus on the low income market.
Will de Klerk joined MicroEnsure (UK) in 2010. His work involves simplification and miniaturisation of insurance products and bundles sold through MFI’s or distributed for free as a loyalty reward through mass market channels, particularly with high-volume partners such as Telcos and banks. Will is currently exploring new opportunities in non-financial channels such as Pharma and FMCG.
