Alongside teaching and conducting research in diverse schools in the United States and abroad, Willy has been working since 2005 on developing Omprakash (www.omprakash.org), a web-based platform connecting grassroots social projects in over thirty countries with an audience of volunteers, classrooms, and donors that can learn from and support their work. At Oxford, he is a Rhodes Scholar pursuing a doctorate from the Department of Education. His research concerns the qualitative aspects of demand for girls' schooling in rural Pakistan. Going forward, he hopes to continue broadening the Omprakash network and encouraging new forms of cross-cultural learning and collaboration.
