Biography
Yasmina Zaidman is the Chief Development and Partnerships Officer at Acumen, where she leads its efforts to engage with partners and funders who share Acumen’s commitment to supporting entrepreneurial approaches to tackling poverty. In her role she has helped Acumen secure philanthropic funding for flagship programs and blended financial vehicles focused on energy access, gender equity and economic opportunity globally. She initiated and managed the Water Portfolio at Acumen, and led Communications for six years. She has worked in the arenas of international development, corporate sustainability, and social entrepreneurship for 30 years. She received a BA from Vassar College and her MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business with a certificate in Public Management.
