Dr. Zia Khan is the Vice President for Initiatives and Strategy at the Rockefeller Foundation. Dr. Khan oversees the Foundation’s approach for achieving impact and realizing the organization’s mission and goals. He leads the program team in New York, Bangkok, and Nairobi and their work in searching for new opportunities, developing strategies, and executing initiatives. He also provides direction for the Foundation’s commitment to supporting new innovations and capacities in the sector.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Dr. Khan was a management consultant and advised senior leaders on strategy and organizational performance. He is a frequent writer and speaker on strategy, innovation, leadership, and organizational change. Dr. Khan is the co-author of Leading Outside the Lines: How to Mobilize the Informal Organization, Energize your Team, and Get Better Results.
