Anu Gupta, MD is an Executive Director in the Worldwide Corporate Contributions division of Johnson & Johnson, where she is responsible for strategic alliances and grantmaking in the preventing diseases in vulnerable populations portfolio.
Dr. Gupta, a primary care physician, develops and strengthens alliances with key partner organizations with similar strategic goals such as the Clinton Global Initiative, GBCHealth, Grantmakers in Health, the MDG Health Alliance, PEPFAR, UN Foundation, and USAID. Within Johnson & Johnson, she creates linkages with key corporate functions and the businesses.
In addition, she sets strategic direction and oversees grantmaking initiatives worldwide in the areas of HIV/AIDS and chronic conditions. Under her leadership, Johnson & Johnson is championing a number of transformative approaches to eliminate pediatric AIDS by 2015.
