I am an engineer and project manager who is passionate about the environment, energy and education. I have over a decade of experience in renewable energy, primarily solar PV. I have worked in both the corporate world and with a number of social enterprises over the last decade. While my main focus has been energy, I am now transitioning to a teaching role in Mathematics at Secondary school level, as it seems teaching may be my calling. I am attending this event primarily to commemorate the work and life of my mother, Pamela Hartigan, former Director of the Skoll Centre, and pioneer in the field of Social Entrepreneurship. Pamela passed away in August 2016.
