Biography
Noha is the co-CEO of the Institute for Transformative Technologies (ITT) whose mission is to develop breakthrough technologies and spin-off businesses to address issues affecting low-income communities. ITT’s portfolio spans energy access, sanitation, food security, and health. She is also the co-founder and President of Oxygen Hub, an initiative of ITT launched to strengthen the medical oxygen infrastructure in sub-Saharan Africa.
Noha earned her BS and MS degrees in mechanical engineering from Columbia University and has has two U.S. patents. She served as Adjunct Professor at the Polytechnic Institute of NYU. Noha currently chairs the External Advisory Board of Columbia University's Mechanical Engineering Department. In 2013 she was named the recipient of the American Association of Engineering Societies’ Kenneth Andrew Roe Award and more recently, she was selected as one of New York Business Journal's Women of Influence. Noha is originally from Cairo, Egypt but calls NY home.
