Grant support will provide a fully funded guarantee, up to $150,000 of which may serve as first-loss guarantee, for the purpose of enabling up to $28 million in working capital loans to private small and medium enterprise (SME) primary care health providers in Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania, and Uganda to stabilize their operations, procure essential medical equipment, and finance small-scale construction to protect patients from the spread of COVID-19.
