ICTJ is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Finance and Administration Assistant – MENA. The Finance and Administration Assistant reports directly to the Finance Officer – MENA Programs. This position is based in Beirut Lebanon. Selected candidates must have legal authorization to work in Lebanon. This is a 12-months contract with the possibility of extension based on performance and the availability of funds. The first three months of the contract will be a probationary period.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the supervision of the Finance Officer – MENA Programs, the Finance and Administration Assistant – MENA will:

Professional Qualifications:
Education: A bachelor’s degree in finance or business administration.
Experience: Minimum of three years of work experience in finance, ideally for an international NGO.
Related skills and knowledge
– Experience in book-keeping and accounting.
– Experience in reporting to donors in an NGO environment.
– Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
– Fluent spoken and written English and Arabic; proficiency in French is an asset.
– Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with people from other cultures.
– Ability to work independently and in a flexible environment; balance multiple priorities, meet strict deadlines.
– Interest in human rights issues and world affairs a plus.
