Action Lab: The Human Face of Climate > Mobilizing Solutions

Thursday, April 2, 2020

Session Description

The climate crisis is a health emergency that impacts billions of people, through extreme heat, hurricanes, flooding, wildfires, the spread of diseases, mental stress, and climate-related migration. Climate change threatens to undermine the drive for health equity and reverse the health gains made over the past several decades.

In this unfolding drama, the health sector is emerging as a central and critical actor in climate solutions. How can we meet the urgency of the moment to catalyze transformative action? Join this interactive, action-oriented session to explore ways in which climate is already impacting the health of millions around the world and discuss ways in which all of us—entrepreneurs, funders, storytellers, nonprofit leaders, businesses—can take action today.
