Isaac Holeman

Biography

Isaac co-founded Medic in 2009 and currently serves as Chief Research Officer, based remotely in Seattle, USA. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Global Health at the University of Washington. In these roles he leads Medic Labs, the R&D unit at Medic, and coordinates a network of scientific collaborators. Isaac brings expertise in digital health, innovation management, and human-centered design research and practice. While based in Seattle, Isaac continues to conduct fieldwork and contribute to Medic’s design practice and implementation partnerships around the world. Isaac was an Echoing Green fellow, and has been named twice in Forbes Magazine’s list of the top 30 social entrepreneurs under the age of 30. He holds a PhD from The University of Cambridge, where he was a Gates Cambridge Scholar.
