Biography

Rachel McMonagle is the Climate Change and Land Tenure Specialist at Landesa, where she promotes secure land tenure as a driver for poverty reduction and climate mitigation and adaptation. Prior to Landesa, she has advanced climate resilience and participatory science efforts at a variety of NGOs and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Rachel holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Management from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies and a B.A. from Oberlin College.
