Rob Johnson is a social entrepreneur with nearly two decades of experience building and scaling innovative, market-driven solutions to strengthen smallholder livelihoods and food systems globally.
Rob is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Acceso, an award-winning social enterprise that partners with more than 35,000 smallholder farmers across Latin America and the Caribbean to help them grow more, sell more, and earn more through long-term, market-based partnerships. He began his work in Haiti with TechnoServe following the 2010 earthquake, where he led value-chain assessments and early programs that ultimately laid the groundwork for Acceso’s launch in 2014.
Rob is also an Adjunct Professor at NYU Wagner, where he teaches courses on managing and operating social enterprises.
Rob holds an MBA (Honors) and a Master of Science in Sustainable Development (Honors) from HEC Paris, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from
