Biography

As a Community Health Extension Worker, my job involves capacity building, mentoring, and supervising community health workers as they deliver door-step preventive and promotive health services in their communities. I support the management of common ailments and health facility referrals for at-risk patients. Informed by data, I convene community forums for health education and mobilize action through dialogue days which are done quarterly,Chief Barazas and action days which are done monthly in every community health unit e.g. towards targeted health risk factors present in the community.
