Sonja brings more than 20 years of global experience in the private and non-profit sectors to Living Goods. She has executive experience overseeing financial, administration and operational functions. She has managed multi- and bilateral funding portfolios in excess of $100 million. Her expertise extends to running a shared services portfolio—including the development and realignment of operational and financial strategies to meet business needs, excellent skills in financial reporting and administration, corporate governance calibration, management of human resources, information technology, and facilities functions. She holds a post-graduate degree in Financial Management, Strategy and Corporate Governance from the University of South Africa, and an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Cape Town.
