Biography

Tom has 19 years of experience in the NGO and commercial sectors. He currently runs the business development team at Living Goods responsible for driving a dynamic dialogue with partners to scale the organisation’s funding and impact. Prior to that he worked at CARE International where he held a number of senior roles in the UK, the US and globally. He led CARE's work across the confederation of 70 countries engaging with the private sector, foundations and institutional partners including multi-laterals. In 2016 he was made board member of Live Well social enterprise in Zambia and was active in both the start up and scale up phases. Prior to this, he worked on global partnerships at UNICEF and a number of UK NGO’s and had his first role in the private sector working with IBM. Tom holds an MA in Business Management and Sociology from the University of Glasgow. He lives in the UK and has three sons.
