What ideas, solutions, and conversations are emerging from local social impact ecosystems? What role do social entrepreneurs play in addressing local problems?
Started in 2018, TEDx Skoll Conversations is a collaborative series to connect with local communities and elevate local solutions. Anchored by independently-organized TEDx events around the globe, the Skoll Foundation is exploring new ways to invest in, connect, and celebrate change makers.
As local connectors and conveners, TEDx curators bring together a diverse set of actors. Each TEDx event features a broad range of locally and regionally relevant ideas and discussions. In 2018, we learned about water delivery systems and experienced the power of dance as civic expression in Lima, explored the power of identity and legacy in Lagos, met indigenous leaders addressing deforestation in Brazil, learned how education technology is evolving in Bangalore, and much more.
